• HSE Programmes outline the performance requirements of Employee Health, Occupational Hygiene, Safety, Loss prevention and Environmental protection.
• We place the highest priority on human life, safety, environment protection and legal compliances. HSE programmes are designed in accordance with the requirements of the Ministry of Environment and Forest and Department of Industrial Health and Safety.
• We are committed to Environmental Protection through rain water harvesting, clean fuel technology and facilities to control air and water pollution.
• HS&E Adverse Event Notification, Reporting and Investigation programme is designed to ensure that all Health, Safety and Environmental (HS&E) adverse events and near misses are identified, notified and investigated so that appropriate actions can be initiated.
• Hazard Identification, Risk Analysis and Control programmes are in place, to identify, assess and control health, safety and environmental (HS&E) risks and impacts.
• Periodic Environmental Monitoring programme is designed to know the environmental impact of the UCB India manufacturing facilities and compliance with the regulatory requirement.
• Sound Industrial Hygiene practices boost-up work facility for higher productivity with the aim of zero occupational illness. It is also about to design work environment that is compatible with individual characteristics.
• Safety Committee Meetings, dialogues and recommendations encourage people participation from across the site in HS&E management and improve overall performance.
